Your subscription is for personal, non-commercial use only. Content generated by Jyoti including readings, remedies, and interpretations may not be reproduced, distributed, sold, or used commercially without written permission. All intellectual property belongs to Jyoti.
Jyoti uses established astronomical ephemeris data for planetary calculations. Interpretations are based on classical Vedic and Nadi astrological tradition. No guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or specific outcomes is made. Jyoti accepts no liability for decisions made based on readings.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in AUD and renew automatically. You may cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are assessed in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
Daily remedies are traditional Vedic spiritual practices. They are not medical treatments. If you have any health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional before adopting any physical remedy or practice. Jyoti accepts no liability for any adverse health outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jyoti shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights which cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. For users outside Australia, applicable local laws also apply. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Queensland courts unless otherwise required by local law.
Jyoti is available worldwide. Additional local legal obligations may apply depending on your jurisdiction including GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California, USA), and PDPB (India). The service complies with applicable international privacy and consumer protection law.
Jyoti reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email.

Your name, email address, date, time and place of birth, and preferred language. If you use these features, we also collect: the name and birth details of anyone you enter for a compatibility reading, any question or relationship context you type, and, optionally, whether a marriage or long partnership has ended for you before. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe; Jyoti never sees your full card number. Jyoti does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Your birth data is used solely to calculate your Vedic chart and create your personalised readings, daily practices and compatibility readings. Your email is used to deliver your subscription, confirm your access, and send service messages.
Your birth details, chart and readings are saved on your own device, in your browser's storage, not in a Jyoti database. Clearing your browser data removes them. If you turn on notifications, we store your first name, time zone, language and chosen notification times with your device's notification address so we can send reminders; this is deleted when you turn notifications off. Your IP address is held for up to 24 hours to prevent abuse of the service.
Readings are written by Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. To create a reading, only the details that reading needs (your name, birth details and calculated chart, and any question, compatibility details or relationship history you have given) are sent securely to Anthropic. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models.
We share data only with the providers needed to run Jyoti: Anthropic (writing readings), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and notification storage) and Resend (email). Your personal data is never sold, rented or shared for advertising or any other commercial purpose.
These providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed outside Australia. By using Jyoti you consent to this, as permitted under Australian Privacy Principle 8. Each provider protects your data under its own security and privacy commitments.
Please only enter another person's name and birth details for a compatibility reading if you have their permission.
Jyoti complies with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. Your information is handled with due care and in accordance with all applicable Australian privacy law.
If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Our lawful basis for processing is consent. You may withdraw consent at any time. Contact hellojyoti@proton.me for any GDPR requests.
